  13. I think technology played a major part. Balloons made spying and observation easier, photography made recording easier and safer, trains helped move soldiers and supplies faster easier, and lastly new and improved weapons made the war a lot more dangerous. Also there was no medicine, which I am told from yesterday that they didn't use very often. I have a feeling that if they used it then a lot more soldiers would be alive. The same thing with sanitation, keep water supply away from your outhouses people and you will not get sick.

    I think the role technology played in the civil war was extremely important because we, the North, had guns that could fire multiple times without reloading giving us a huge advantage, also, we had balloons which increased our spying skills.

    I think technology was a big impact in the civil war because if they didn't have that technology then they wouldn't have the rifles and thwe submarines then we probably wouldn't have won the civil war.
