Someone drops a baseball from a high place it simply rolls away after bouncing 3-4 times. The same person then throws a basketball, it is a lot bigger that the baseball. The basketball bounces 6-7 times before finally rolling away.
I drop a baseball it bounces about 1 or 2 times. I drop a basketball and it bounces about 3 or 4 times. Even though the baseball has more mass so it goes faster, the basketball will bounce more because it has less mass.
Like the picture above when the girl decides to drop the ball of the edge it will drop down and it will bounce back up to her or it will bounce a little and will not return to her
Lets say you have a bowling ball and you let it go down the alley it accelerates and knocks down all of the pins. Then a kid has a smaller bowling ball and lets it go down the alley. This ball has less mass and went slower. It only knocked down 2 pins.
I took a bullet out of my pocket and threw it at you. Then I took my bullet and put it in my glock 9 and shot it at you. And it isn't speeding up because you touched it. It's the kinetic energy from the gun.
Let's say you drive a truck into a building and cause lots of destruction. Now lets say another maniac only drives a small car, and causes only a little bit of destruction. The car causes less destruction than the truck because it has less mass and less speed. (Lets say the truck rolled down a hill while the car didn't)
Kinetic energy is the energy an object possesses during motion. If the mass is bigger the kinetic energy is probably fairly higher. The speed depicts the kinetic energy.

when you jump up and down on a trampoline, depending on how fast you jump down, your mass will bounce back at you with equal,or more mass, while the kinetic energy formed from the springs will be produced

When someone drops a ball down a cliff and it goes down and bounces back up.
ReplyDeleteIF a bike hit something faster it would make more destruction and one with less speed would be less
ReplyDeleteWhen a coin is dropped off of a super high building and it speeds up.
ReplyDeleteIf someone drops a ball it will fall and bounce up.

ReplyDeleteThe Basketball has more mass than the baseball so therefore, it was more acceleration and also more kinetic energy.
DeleteWhen the ball drops, the ball bounces back, turning the potential energy into kinetic energy
ReplyDeleteThe more mass the less something will bounce if you drop it. The less mass the more it will bounce.

ReplyDeleteWhen a ball drops and bounces back up.
ReplyDeleteWhen you drop a circular figure it will bounce back up if you drop it.
ReplyDeleteThe more the mass the less it will bounce, the less the mass means the more it will bounce.

ReplyDeleteWhen you drop a ball and it gets faster and then it bounces up.

ReplyDeleteisn't that Mr. Ruby's example i am pretty sure it is...

ReplyDeletespeed and mass effect kinetic energy because of how fast it moves and how much it wheighs.
