Transferring Momentum

When a player uses a golf club to hit a ball how is the momentum transferred?

  4. The momentum goes from the golfers arm, swinging like a pendulum, then the golf club hits the ball, with the same momentum as the swinging arm. So basically the momentum goes from the arm/Club to the ball to send it flying!!!
