Yesterday I asked "How did they improve the performance of Ironclads?" The answer is they put armor on the Ironclads instead of using wood. They also heavily armed the battleship.
I am answering my own questions which was What were some major discoveries, inventions,Innovations, and events during the civil war medical field or the science field.
Five Innovations were the Telegraph, Photography, Riffle and minie ball, and finally the Railroad. Did you know that the civil war was the first time that me carried pocket watches. Inventions such as steam engine transport and the Singer sewing machine. It was durring the civil war that the first military draft was enacted it is still in existence today but only for males maybe in the future it will be required for females.
How did the bullet fire? the bullet fired when the cap shot the sparks down into the barrel and hits the gunpowder sending the lead out the barrel and in the target :)
