Art in Science

What do you think scientist did before photography to create a visual record? Look up images created by James John Audubon. What do you think about his images would they be helpful for  science?

  31. Before photography was invented people drew pictures. James John Autobon created paintings of wildlife. I am not sure his paintings would be to helpful to science.

  41. The drew pictures to document the discoveries they made. I think James John Auburn's images could help understand the characteristics of birds and how they help the bird function.
