Well back then humans died a lot more often. It didn't matter if it was by fighting animals, old age, getting sick, and they didn't have anything to stop those. But our population increased because we found more and more ways to not die. We made medicine for the sick people, and more advanced weapons to fight off animals, and because people didn't die a lot when they were young, humans began to live a lot longer.
Well, there are a few pieces of technology that are helping the international population grow.
1.) They didn't have any medicine back then to cure diseases. If you got the common cold, you would probably die.
2.) The only source of heat was fire back then. But they had to produce the heat. We can just turn the heater on.
3.) They needed weapons. We can manufacture them, while they had to make them homemade! They have to pull back a string or throw a pointy stick. We have to pull a trigger.
Mass production of almost everything we need to survive, we also know how to make stuff that we didn't back in the olden days, and we have well-built shelters with oil heating it. We're lucky to live now and not in the olden days.
Oil has increased the human population by a lottt. If humans didn't have Oil we would probably have the average life span of a cat. Some examples why we need Oil in our lives are because, 1. We need Oil to cook food. 2. We need Oil for heat/A.C. 3. We need Oil to create any source of Electricity.
The advancement of medicine, and technology available to hospitals help the population grow. Also heating systems for heat and less of chance of fire hazard. Also new gaming systems keeping people inside and out of harms way! XD.....except from a heart attack or lack of exercise...Well, let's look at the bright side!
When we have diseases, broken bones, and all that stuff we have those x-rays, cat scans, that thingy to check your pulse and your heart rate, that stuff...... Weaponry so we don't have to die with terrible guns... I don't know...
Technology for medical use such as x-rays has helped save many human lives. Vaccines have been created. Different pesticides have caused crops to grow more efficiently resulting in more food.
Easy. Medicines, Educated Doctors, Orthapedic Doctors, Casts, Lots of Knowledge, Vacinnations, Hospital Machines such as MRI's, non heavy radiation X-Ray Machines, and more and more investigation being found on the human, and how we work, and how to fix us when we break down.
