What are the differences between DNA & RNA?

Why is RNA important to DNA and Cell reproduction ?

  1. The difference between DNA and RNA is they have different bases and they do different things. I don't know what that has to do with cell reproduction.

  4. 1.The main difference between DNA and RNA is the sugar present in the molecules. While the sugar present in an RNA molecule is ribose, the sugar present in a molecule of DNA is deoxyribose. Deoxyribose is the same as ribose, except that the former has one more OH.

2.DNA carries the genetic information of a cell. WHen this information is needed, the genes are transferred to RNA

  5. DNA is double stranded and two strands are complementary to each other and RNA is single stranded and is made of base pairs.

And why RNA is important to DNA and Cell reproduction is DNA carries the genetic information of a cell. WHen this information is needed, the genes are transferred to RNA

  8. Well the DNA expands that will make the cell into 2 cells I think. I am not really sure

  11. One difference between dna and rna is that D=dexoyribose and R=ribose. Not sure what that has to do with cell reproduction.

  18. The difference between RNA and DNA is RNA is a single strand and DNA is a double strand, also they have different base matches...not quite as sure about why its so important in reproduction...

  27. DNA and RNA are different because DNA is in the cell and RNA makes new cells.RNA is what reproduces the DNA cells.

  28. DNA is a double strand and RNA is single.

  29. DNA is a "full spiral like ladder." RNA is a "half spiral like ladder."
RNA "merges" with another RNA thingy is it creates a "full" spiral like ladder.

  30. Well Rna is only one strand and DNA is doubles strands. RNA is important because it is what reproduces dna cells.
