  13. Glaciers are found in cold climates and mountainous areas. There are different kinds of glaciers that fall into two groups: Alpine glaciers and ice sheets. Alpine glaciers form on mountain sides. Ice sheets however, aren't limited to mountain sides. Glaciers form when more snow falls than melts in a year.

  15. Glaciers are not only ice, but there is also sand and such inside them. You can find glaciers in places like Greenland, Iceland, Antarctica, The Alps. The place where you can find the largest glacier in the world is Antarctica. It is called the Lambert Glacier. It is roughly 40,000 sq km (25,000 sq mi) in size. Most glaciers are at least 500 ft, but some are bigger. 28 percent of the world is covered in glaciers.

One really large ice burg Practically killed the titanic also. You can find glaciers in Greenland, on the outskirts of Antarctica, somewhere in Alaska, and other really cold areas.
