  1. the more weight the more it sinks the less weight the more it flots

The more sea water you have the more it sinks and if you let it go the submarine will float to the top .:P

  4. If the submarine has more seawater it will submerge deeper and deeper. It displaces its weight! :D

  5. The sub is able to rise or dive by when the sub adds water the weight is greater cause the sub would be heavier so there would be more weight for gravity to pull down on. When water is released the sub is lighter so it would rise since there is not as much weight for gravity to pull down on.

  6. dive. because it will sink and gravity and makes it sink cuz of the weight and then it sinks

  8. It dives because the more water you have the more it sinks

  10. if the submarine goes down the mass rises until it goes down to far

  11. The waters weight! If you have more water in the tank then you will most likely sink deeper but if you have less water then most likely you will rise or stay at the surface! So the main thing is weight!

  12. Because it reduces buoyancy when it wants to go down and adds it when it wants to go up and it adds pressure to make it so that the submarine doesn't get crushed under the amount of pressure exerted by the water.

  13. when you add water it will dive because the weight and when you move it, it rises because the weight

  14. When there is more water in the tub then it will dive because there is more force pulling it down and when you dont have alot of water the bouyant force is pushing it back up.

  15. If the submarine has lots of mass it goes deeper and if it doesn't it goes up.

  16. the more weight from the water the lower the sub. goes

  17. the weight lowers it

  18. The body of a submarine is uniquely constructed. Under its strong outer hull are huge ballast tanks that surround its working core. The tanks can be filled with and emptied of seawater and air, which allows the submarine to sink or rise in the water.

  19. It's all about the weight and how much it is.. and the more wight it goes lower and the less weight it floats.

  21. If there is more water in the sub, then the bouyant force ends.

  22. By emptying the tanks air fills up the tanks and air floats which makes the craft float, by adding water to the tanks you add weight and it makes you go down.

  23. the water in the tub will make it sink. The more water you put in the tub, the faster it sinks.

  24. It effect the buoyant force so the sub becomes heavier so it will sink or become lighter and rise.

  26. The water in the tanks determines the weight of the submarine so it can sink more, or float easier.

  27. when there is more water in the tub because the force is pulling it down and when you dont have enough water you rise.

  28. The water in the tanks add mass to the submarine so it will sink, If there is less water in the tanks then the tank would rise.

  29. If you put more water in it, the buoyant force and gravity will become unbalanced, so that gravity is more powerful. This causes the submarine to sink. If you then take the water out, the buoyant force will overcome gravity and the submarine will rise.
