We have discussed several aspects of science and technology in the Civil War era. How has your perception of the technology changed? Was there anything you found surprising in learning about technology during the Civil War.

ReplyDeleteI learned that there is alot more technology then I ever thought example the telegraph, trains, canned stuff.

ReplyDeleteSomething that I found surprising in learning about the technology during the civil war was that they used ht air balloons. They also used trains! I would have never guessed they had trains.
One thing I learned is that there were trains in the Civil War

ReplyDeleteAn interesting thing that I learned was that they had a ship that had a revolving gun! i thought that those came along later in history!
ReplyDeleteThe technology changed a lot, from revolving cannon fire to revolving machine gun and rocket launchers. I learned that the gatling gun was invented really early, during the civil war.

DeleteMy perception of the technology changed as i found out the didn't have semi auto guns and i found out they did not have many vehicle! Something i found interesting was that they had armored ships!

I think it's a good idea but it a lot of people could go to far. There should be some restrictions and students should be responsible for their own stuff.
