Newtons Laws

Please list one of Newton's Three Laws of Motion and give a real life example of that law in action.

  1. If an object is at rest and acted upon by a force the object will remain at rest.

  2. One of Newton's laws is an object that is at rest will stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.
An object that is in motion will not change its velocity unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.
One example of this law is a boulder sits on top of a hill, and won't move until someone pushes it.

  4. First law:
Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Example: when you are riding in a car and you press on the breaks and you get pushed forward.

  5. The velocity of a body remains constant unless the body is acted upon by an external force.
example, when you ride down a hill you put the breaks on and you sometimes pull forward.

    I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

  7. States that object at rest will remain at rest or move with a constant velocity unless a force is applied.

  8. Newton's first law of motion-
it predicts the behavior of objects for which all existing forces are balanced.
Example- a roller coaster when it stops it goes forward a little.

  12. Newton's first law:
Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Example: Your on rollarblads and you put your foot down to stop and you still keep going forward.

  16. Newton's first law of motion is often stated as an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Example: When you're riding in a car and you press on the breaks then you get pushed forward.

  18. Newton's First law f Motion.
Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
Example: SkateBoaring and your on it so it goes forward a little after you stop.

  19. second law states that an object acted upon by a net force will accelerate in the direction of the force

  21. One of newton's laws has to do with the balance between forces. An example could be putting a meter stick on one finger and trying to balance it! The forces will help keep it on your finger without falling.

  30. Please list one of Newton's Three Laws of Motion and give a real life example of that law in action.

One of Newtons Three Laws Of Motion is if there is no Net force acting on an object, the object remains at rest, or if the object is already moving, it continues to move in a straight line with constant speed.
Example: A car going the same speed on the road, and it slows down and stops.

  31. An object that is at rest will stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.
    Example: Brakes

    Brakes is one example

  33. One of newtons laws is his 3rd one every action has an equal and opisite reaction.

My situation is if I punched Kyle.M his reaction might be to punch me back or go in the corner and cry.

Example:Constant velocity is the Newton's first law. A real life example is Sunlight, an example of constant velocity, light traveling at the constant speed of light.. On earth, an ice skater gliding or a hockey puck sliding on ice is a close example of nearly constant velocity. A stable oil drilling platform is close to zero constant velocity.

  39. An object in motion tends to stay in motion, An object at rest tends to stay at rest.
2nd law: Force is equal to mass times acceleration (you need a force to move a mass)
3rd law: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

  40. newton's second law of motion you could push people out of the way so you could get there faster

  44. every object in a state uniform motion tends to stay in motion unless external force is applied to it

For Example: IF you are riding your bike down a hill really fast and slam on your brakes you will slide an slow down then you will stop

  45. newtons first law of motion was force . and isaac newton prooved more momentum ment more force against an object

  46. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.:)~

example: a ruler falling to the ground stops cause the the ground is there

  48. the second law is i u push something it will go faster

    ReplyDelete
  49. Newton's 2nd law- an object in uniform motion will remain in uniform motion until acted upon by an outside force.
Example:A meteor cant be stopped until it reaches the atmospbhere

  50. Newton's third law of motion states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When a person shoots a gun, they get knocked back a little. This is because of Newton's Third Law.

  51. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

    1. A bird pushes air down while flying , Since forces result from mutual interactions, the air must also be pushing the bird upwards. This allows the bird to fly

  52. Newtons 3rd Law is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The opposite of push is pull.

  53. Newton's Second law of motion, if you run into something movable, it could move in the same direction it was pushed in.

Please list one of Newton's Three Laws of Motion and give a real life example of that law in action. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction: When you drop a chicken it falls and lands on it's feet usually.. haha

  56. An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. A car continues to drive until you apply the brakes and you continue to stay in motion until you seatbelt stops you.

  57. Newton's First Law of Motion:
    I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
