One thing I know about the respiratory system is that it is an important system. It is mostly made up of your lungs. It is all about air getting into your body through your lungs and allowing carbon dioxide to leave your body.
I don't know very much about the respiratory system, but this is what I do know. I know that the respiratory system includes your lungs, how you breath, and things like that. That is what I know about the respiratory system.
I know that the respratory system has something to do with the lungs and if you smoke then you damage your lungs and you respratory system and you will probably have to get a lung transplant.
The respiratory system has to do with your lungs and how you breath. People with asthma have issues with their respiratory system. Air enters your body through your mouth and nose. The hairs inside your nostrils actually trap dust from the hair. Then glands produce mucus, which traps the dust, pollen, etc. that are not picked up the hair. By this point, the air has been warmed by your body heat. Then the warm air goes into your pharynx. From there, it goes to your larynx, and then to the trachea. Then it is brought to your lungs by tubes called bronchi. Then the air goes into your bronchioles, and then to your alveoli, which is surrounded by capillaries. Because your capillaries are only one cell thick, it is easy for an exchange of oxygen to happen between your capillaries and alveoli. Once the oxygen passes through the walls of the capillaries, it is picked up by the hemoglobin in your blood and carried to the rest of your body. Then the left over carbon dioxide is exhaled. If you smoke, you can get lung cancer, causing a lack of oxygen to your body.
