  29. One cardiovasculor disease is heart failure. This a disease is where your heart can no longer efficiently pump blood. A sympotom of this is swelling in the legs, arms, etc. Another disease is called Hypertension aka high blood pressure. this happens when your blood pressure is higher than normal and extra strain is placed on the heart. You can know that you have this by using a special instrument to measure your blood pressure.

  30. Two different types of diseases are a heart attack and cancer.

A heart attack: A heart attack happens if the flow of oxygen-rich blood to a section of heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked.

Cancer: Cancer harms the body when damaged cells divide uncontrollably to form lumps or masses of tissue called tumors (except in the case of leukemia where cancer prohibits normal blood function by abnormal cell division in the blood stream).

  56. There are many diseases that effect the cardiovascular system. These diseases are usually very life threatening. One example of a cardiovascular disease is valvular heart disease. This disease can lead to cancer or heart attack. Another disease of the heart is Arrhythmias, which effects the electric impulses in the heart that control heartbeats. The result of this disease can make your heart beat to slow, to fast, or just make your heartbeats irregular. This can also result in heart failure or heart attack. Those are two diseases that effect the heart.

  57. Two thing that might mess up your Cardiovascular system is you might get to much fat surrounding the veins then you will get a heart attack and possibly die. Another one might be that you have this diseases were you don't have enough red blood cell so you will have not enough red blood cells to do things.

  59. arrhythmia is a disease that causes irregular heart beats. so it could beat really fast one second then really slow another. Another disease is coronary artery disease or C.A.D causes decreased blood to the heart if the artery become clogged or very contracted it starves the heart from blood and oxygen.

  60. Two cardiovascular diseases include Endocarditis and Hypercholesterolemia. Endocarditis is an infection of the heart’s inner lining (endocardium) and valves. Bacterial endocarditis occurs when bacteria in the bloodstream (bacteremia) lodge on abnormal heart valves or other damaged heart tissue. This can occur during dental and periodontal surgical procedures. Hypercholesterolemia is the term used to describe chronic high levels of cholesterol in the blood, largely exacerbated by diet. Small fat deposits beneath the skin can signal hypercholesterolemia. Familial hypercholesterolemia is a rare genetically inherited disorder that causes severe high cholesterol beginning at birth and is unrelated to diet.

  66. Deoxygenated blood spilld into the right atrium by way of the inferior and superior vena cava. The blood then funnels through the tricuspid valve and builds up in the right ventricle. With a strong contraction upward, the right ventricle pumps the blood upward through the pulmonic valve(pulmonary semilunar valve) . The blood moves through the pulmonary artery to the lungs where the exchange of carbon dioxide for oxygen takes place. Oxygenated blood then flows from the lungs into the pulmonary veins. The pulmonary veins then dumps the oxygenated blood into the left atrium. Blood funnels through the mitral valve (bicuspid valve) into the left ventricle. A powerful contraction is made to push the blood through the aortic valve(aortic semilunar valve) into the aorta where the blood is channeled throughout the body.
