  1. There are many cells that are in the human bones, and they all serve important functions. There are bone forming cells called osteoblasts, and they deposit the minerals calcium and phosphorus in bones, making bone tissue hard. There is another type of cell in bones called the ostoclasts. the osteoclast breaks down bone tissue in some parts of the bone. When osteoclasts break down bones, it releases the calcium and phosphorus into the bloodstream. This keeps the amount of calcium and phosphorus even in the bloodstream. We need the calcium and phosphorus to help move the muscles and move.

  7. Bones are made of cells. What are some of the cells that are in human bones and what function do they serve? Red blood cells are produced by marrow. White blood cells are also produced by bone marrow, but not as fast as red blood cells. There are boneforming cells called osteoblasts, which deposit the minerals calcium and phosphorus into the bloodstream.
