How does it work

How does the nervous system work? If you had to explain this system to another student what would you say?  What do you think the most important parts are to know about?

  7. The nervous system is a complex network of nerves and cells that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to various parts of the body. The nervous system includes both the Central nervous system and Peripheral nervous system.

  17. The nervous system includes the two systems, the central nervous system and the peri nervous system. It also includes the brain and the spinal cord. There are also neurons, some types Inter, Motor, Sensory, Dendrite, Axon, Snnapes.

  24. The nervous system works when your nerves send a message to your brain which tells your spinal cord how to react. The two most important things to know about the nervous system are the brain, and spinal cord.

  36. the most important thing you need to know bout the nervous system is that there is a system that helps you. if i was going to explain to a friend i will tell them about the centarl and pehrial system

  37. the nervous system is part of the body that sends messages to parts of your body, for example if a ball came at your face if your like me you might duck or you might freeze and get hit in the face or you might catch it.

  40. The nervous system is the system the body that uses nerves to let you move and react and all that stuff .

  41. i would say you need to know the types of nuerons the nervous system and the parts of a nueron

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would explain The C.N.R and the P.N.R .

    ReplyDelete
  43. The nervous system is the system that controls your muscles (basically any movement). There are voluntary movements (like walking), and involuntary movements (reflexes).

  44. You must know that the nervous system is made up of the the brain, spinal cord, and other nerve cells. Dendrites send out messages from the cell body, while axons receive them.

  47. The nervous system is a part of the body that sends messages to other parts of your body, If I had to explain the nervous system I would use reflexes as a example If you are just sitting down and someone throws something at you then your nerves make you react to try to catch it or duck. I think the most important parts are the Brain and the spinal cord.

  48. If I had to explain the nervous system to another student I would tell them that the central nervous system is controlled by the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system is everything outside of the brain and spinal cord. I would also tell them that the path a neuron takes is through the dendrite, then the axon, and finally it passes through the synapse. I would also tell them that the three types of neurons are sensory, inter, then motor.

  52. the nervous system is like the brain and the spinal cord it has peripheral and central systems in it.

  54. I think the most important parts to learn about are the brain, spinal cord, and nerons.

  55. If I were to explain the nervous system to another student I would make sure to explain to them the different nervous systems known as the Peripheral which is everything outside of the brain and the and Nervous which is controlled by the brain and spinal cord. Then I would explain to them what a neuron is and the three types of neurons known as sensory, inter, and motor. Lastly I would tell them the pathway of a neuron. Dendrite, axon, and motor.

  71. The biggest part of the brain is the cerebrum. The cerebrum makes up 85% of the brain's weight, and it's easy to see why. The cerebrum is the thinking part of the brain and it controls your voluntary muscles — the ones that move when you want them to. So you can't dance — or kick a soccer ball — without your cerebrum.

When you're thinking hard, you're using your cerebrum. You need it to solve math problems, figure out a video game, and draw a picture. Your memory lives in the cerebrum — both short-term memory (what you ate for dinner last night) and long-term memory (the name of that roller-coaster you rode on two summers ago). The cerebrum also helps you reason, like when you figure out that you'd better do your homework now because your mom is taking you to a movie later.

  73. The nervous system has the brain and the spinal cord. Memory takes place in the brain. The system controls voluntary movements. Central nervous system has brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system is everything outside the brain. Sensory, motor, and inter are three types of neurons.

  74. The nervous system sends signals from your nerves to your brain and spinal cord. The most important thing to know about the nervous system are the difference between peripheral and central nervous system, the path that signals take to get to and from the brain and spinal cord, and the specifics of how your brain and spinal cord.
