Jake and Lewin were playing pass in the hallway. Lewin said that this was a good example of momentum. Jake said it was a better example of speed. Nadia said that it was an example of both because speed is related to momentum. Who do you think was right and why? What is speed and what is momentum?

speed is how fast something moves. momentum is the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity. speed and momentum would be related, so i agree with Nadia.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia, because momentum keeps the speed. It makes it so that the ball stays going.
ReplyDeleteNadia is right because speed and momentum are synonyms. Speed is the rate at which something moves and momentum is the quantity of motion of something moving.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia
ReplyDeleteI agree with nadia.
ReplyDeletei agree with nadia
ReplyDeleteLewin because when it goes down lower it speeds up.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia was right.
ReplyDeleteNadia
ReplyDeleteNadia is right because speed and momentum are the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia was right because they are related.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia
ReplyDeleteI think nadia is right its a little bit pf both.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia is right. Momentum is the measure of how hard it is for an object to stop and speed how fast something is going.
ReplyDeleteNadia because momentum has to do with speed.
ReplyDeleteNadia because it has to do with both.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia. Speed is how fast an object or someone is going and momentum is the measure of the motion of an object.
ReplyDeleteThey are all right.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia is right because its a little bit of both.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia was right because speed is related to momentum.
ReplyDeleteIt has to do with both.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia is right.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia because the speed would be how fast it goes in the air, but the momentum is the force pushing on it from the back and how far it carries it after they let go.
ReplyDeleteI think that Nadia is right because speed and momentum are pretty much the same thing.
ReplyDeleteLewin, Jake, and Nadia are right because Lewin is always right and NAdia said it was both. Speed is the distance over time. The momentum is mass times velocity.
ReplyDeleteEverybody is right but Nadia is the most right because it has to do with both. Speed is how long it takes to get somewhere and momentum is the force pushing the ball forward.
ReplyDeleteThey are all right.
ReplyDeleteLewin, Jake, and Nadia are right because Lewin is always right and NAdia said it was both. Speed is the distance over time. The momentum is mass times velocity.
ReplyDeleteI think Nadia is the most correct, because she is correct in both categories. Speed is how long it takes something to get somewhere overtime, and momentum is how slow of fast something is building speed overtime.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nadia
