    The Popocatepetl volcano, which lies only 34 miles from Mexico City, continues to show signs of activity. On Monday, June 17 the volcano spewed clouds of ash and rock miles into the air.

  30. Meteor impacts are a very destructive force caused by space rock going into Earths orbit. When a volcano erupts the lava spews out and the destroys everything in its path and then the lava slows down when it starts hardening. Earthquakes are caused by tectonic plates rubbing together from heat under the Earth.
