  2. t sounds like you are referring to homozygous vs heterozygous. If an organism has two identical alleles of the same gene, it is said to be homozygous. If an organism has two different alleles of the same gene, it is said to be heterozygous.

  3. There are many branches, such as molecular, macro, organic, plant (botany), animal (zoology). cellular, evolutionary, marine, anatomy and the list goes on and on. Everything scientists can possible study concerning living things gives rise to a "new" branch.

    Alleles are the different forms of traits a gene may have. Traits such as such eye color , hair color and height have different forms on alleles. Alleles can be described as dominate or recessive. A dominate alleles will have the trait that shows. Recessive alleles are on genes but do not present in the organism.
