Given an object already moving in the same direction as acceleration, you can have three situations: If positive: The object will speed up. If negative: The object will slow down. If zero: The object will remain at the same speed.
Acceleration is the change in velocity and/or direction of an object. Acceleration can either speed an object up, slow it down (deceleration), or change the direction in which the object is moving.
If the object is positivly getting accelerated it can speed up, if it negatively affects the object it can deccelerate and if it's zero nothing will happen.
The three ways acceleration can change an object's motion is positive, negative, and zero.
ReplyDeleteAcceleration means a change in velocity. Velocity is a vector quantity, meaning that it has both a direction and a magnitude.
ReplyDeletepositive, negative and zero.
DeleteThe 3 ways are positive, negative, and zero.
ReplyDeleteThree ways that acceleration can change an objects motion are...
ReplyDelete•If positive, it will go faster.
•If negative, it will start slowing down.
•If zero, it will not go anywhere.
Three ways acceleration can change an objects motion is 1: Speed up 2: Slow down and 3: Turn, change direction.
ReplyDeletepositive- starts quickly
ReplyDeletenegative- starts slowly
zero- not moving at all
