  5. Mutation is a permanent change in your DNA. It occurs if their parents are also mutated so it could passed down in your genes. It can also be acquired.

  6. Mutation is any permanent change in the DNA sequence of a gene or chromosome of a cell. It occurs when a mistake happens like if a A, goes with a C instead of a T.

  13. A mutation is when something starts to change and then changes. They usually look weird!I It occurs when DNA is not copied the correct way or if the DNA gets mixed!

  17. A mutation is a change in the dna. Some mutations can be fixed- like if a cow that would have had a twin, but the twin died and fused into the other cow. But if your like a cyclops or something then you cant change that. it is passed down but can also be acquired.

Mutation is a change in your DNA. It is when DNA gets mixed up. It occurs when a mistake happens like A goes with C instead of T. It could also be passed through genes.

  20. A mutation is when one side of DNA doesn't have the right pair, like adenine might be acciedently paired with guanine. These occur when the RNA contains the wrong info

1.A mutation is simply an accidental change in your genes or DNA sequence. The types of mutations in biology are: substitution, insertion, deletion, and frame-shift.

Contrary to popular belief, mutations are often harmless. However, beneficial and harmful mutations can arise and affect the organism positively or negatively.

2.Mutations occur during the "S" stage of interphase of mitosis and meiosis. This is during the DNA replication period.

  34. Mutation is a permanent change in the DNA sequence that makes up a gene. Mutations range in size from a single DNA base to a large segment of a chromosome. They can be inherited from a parent or acquired during a person’s lifetime.

  36. A mutation is when DNA is not copied exactly, and the proteins made from the instructions might not be made correctly. X-rays, sunlight, and certain chemicals can cause mutations.
